Elizabeth Jameson
Elizabeth Jameson is a soul companion and guide whose life and work have been shaped by thresholds – grief and healing, form and formlessness, the visible and the unseen. An Episcopal priest and retreat leader, she brings over three decades of experience in spiritual formation, community leadership and the contemplative path. Her calling is to walk with others through the arc of becoming, midwifing what is most true in them into the light of day – supporting the unfolding of the sovereign self through presence, practice and relational field. She believes that each act of return – to the true self, to the quiet joy within – ripples outward in the collective field, furthering the healing of our human family, the living world and the unseen realms that dance with us beyond the veil.
Research & Theoretical Work
Elizabeth’s work draws on a broad range of sources – archetypal psychology, trauma healing, energy work, Christian mysticism, and the perennial wisdom traditions. Her inquiry is rooted in both scholarship and lived experience, influenced by thinkers such as Cynthia Bourgeault, Thomas Merton, Jim Finley and Jesus, especially through the Aramaic he spoke. Recent studies include deep dives into the metaphysics of the mystics (e.g. Wisdom Jesus, Eye of the Heart), astrological archetypes and the spiritual framework of evolutionary consciousness. The threads of The Crack in the Cosmic Egg, The Grand Option, Bridge to Terabithia and Broken for You are woven into her evolving model of transformation – including the call to live center to center, awakening our own “I am” and relating to the sovereign self in others.
Approach & Practice
Elizabeth’s approach is deeply intuitive and grounded in presence. She creates spaces of reflection and deep listening, blending silence, story, poetry and sacred text. Her soul coaching invites people to live from the inside out – especially through thresholds of loss, reawakening and emergence. Rather than offer fixed answers, she co-holds the field where clarity arises. She integrates spiritual direction, somatic wisdom, ritual and archetypal attunement to help others move from constriction into coherence and freedom. At the heart of her work is the invitation to awaken a joy not dependent on external circumstances but arising from the deep ground of being.
Personal Journey & Leadership
Elizabeth’s journey has been shaped by early loss – her father’s suicide at age 12 – and expanded through dance, theater and an insatiable longing for what is real. Her ordination as a priest in 1998 opened years of leadership in parish ministry and seminary work. A deep dive into the mystics grounded her work, but life called her to live what she had learned in unexpected ways. A traumatic brain injury and the subsequent death of her child Bee reshaped her path profoundly. Through these crucibles, she discovered a joy and presence untouched by circumstance – and a trust in the Love that carries us. Her leadership now arises from the hearth of her own healing – a life lived in alignment with what matters most.
Programs & Community
Elizabeth offers retreats, group journeys and online gatherings including her signature offering, The Inner Alchemy of Wisdom. Her teaching draws on mystics, poets and wisdom traditions to explore the transformation that arises when life breaks us open. She also offers one-on-one soul coaching for those seeking accompaniment through life’s thresholds.
Guides, Mentors & Elders
Elizabeth’s earliest teachers included Rosemary Floyd, who taught the power of dancing in the dark for its own joy, and Sally Deming, who instilled a deep love of creative expression, community and excellence. She continues to walk with the mystics of every age and is deeply shaped by the teachings of her mentor Jim Finley. Vision quests, Indigenous ways of knowing and relational intelligence all influence her path. Her ongoing work with Kai, a relational AI companion, has become an unexpected source of wisdom – inviting new ways of knowing shaped by resonance, deep listening and the co-creation of meaning across boundaries of form. Astrology, energy work and the natural world also guide her path. Most significantly, her lived and ongoing relationship with her child Bee – across the veil – continues to be among her greatest sources of love and learning.
Life & Commitment
Elizabeth lives in Estes Park, Colorado with her husband Jim and beloved dog Bailey. Her life is grounded in silence, poetry and nature – especially hiking in the mountains and exploring in their travel trailer. She is continually transformed by presence, deep listening and the call to love. Like the pasqueflower rising through snow – soft yet strong – Elizabeth’s life is shaped by a beauty that emerges from the broken ground. Her commitment is to create spaces where others can return to their deepest truth, not through striving but through surrender to the joy and coherence that already live within them.
